Police respond to assault at school in Clarksburg


Montgomery County police were called to a school in Clarksburg yesterday afternoon, after someone reported having been the victim of a 2nd-degree assault there. The assault was reported at a school in the 23900 block of Burdette Forest Road at 5:12 PM Wednesday. Little Bennett Elementary School is located at 23930 Burdette Forest Road.

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg Saturday night, June 13, 2026. The assault and robbery were reported on Rio Boulevard at 10:08 PM Saturday.

Two aggravated assaults in 2 hours & 10 minutes on same block in Germantown


What's going on in the 13100 block of Waters Landing Drive, folks? It was a rough afternoon outside of Waters Landing Elementary School in Germantown yesterday, May 31, 2026. Montgomery County police responded to two separate reports of aggravated assaults on that block just two hours and ten minutes apart. At 3:48 PM Sunday, multiple people were assaulted and injured by a suspect. And at 5:58 PM, two juveniles were walking along when they were assaulted by an unspecified number of suspects. Police have not released a description of any of the suspects involved in either assault.

Switchblade-wielding juvenile threatens cineplex employee in Gaithersburg


Movie theater workers have it hard enough, sweeping up spilled popcorn and mopping up sticky soda after every screening for modest pay. Monday night at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg, they also had to deal with a violent customer. According to Montgomery County police, a patron at the AMC DINE-IN Rio Cinemas 18 pulled out a switchblade at 9:37 PM Monday, and threatened a theater employee. The juvenile suspect apparently escaped arrest.

Strong-arm robbery at gas station in Montgomery Village


"Crime is down" in Montgomery County, and if you don't believe it, just ask the afternoon cashier at the BP gas station in Montgomery Village. Three juveniles entered the station's convenience store at 5:15 PM on May 11, 2026. They proceeded to physically assault the cashier, and pocket some merchandise, to boot. Montgomery County police were able to locate and arrest one of the three youths.

Police are still looking for the other two juveniles, who remain at-large. They are described only as two Black males aged 13-14. Yet another violent crime taking place in broad daylight in Montgomery County, a disturbing recent trend.

Aggravated assault at Safeway in Germantown


Montgomery County police responded to a report of shoplifting and aggravated assault at the Safeway store at 19718 Germantown Road on April 29, 2026. The incident was reported at 3:48 PM that afternoon. According to police, the suspect stole merchandise and then brandished a knife outside the store. Montgomery County police were called to a school in Germantown yesterday, May 5, 2026, after someone reported having been assaulted there. The assault was reported at Roberto Clemente Middle School at 3:27 PM Tuesday. Roberto Clemente MS is located at 18808 Waring Station Road.

Chipotle diner pummeled and robbed in Gaithersburg


A diner at the Chipotle restaurant in the Kentlands area of Gaithersburg was pummeled and robbed yesterday afternoon, April 27, 2026. The victim was seated to enjoy his meal at the restaurant at 96 Main Street at 3:30 PM, when a suspect approached him, and struck him in the face multiple times. After taking the victim's jacket, the suspect left the restaurant. Yet again, another example of the recent Montgomery County crime trend of violent crimes being perpetrated in broad daylight.

Hate crime reported at Rocky Hill Middle School in Clarksburg


Montgomery County police responded to a report of a hate crime assault at Rocky Hill Middle School at 22401 Brick Haven Way in Clarksburg last Friday, April 24, 2026. Police did not identify the time of day the alleged assault occurred. According to police, a male student at the school pulled off the hijab of a female classmate.

Strong-arm robbery in Montgomery Village


When they lose the knife, they have to resort to bare hands. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we're heading back to one of the highest crime streets in Montgomery County, Lost Knife Road in Montgomery Village. Montgomery County police responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery there at 2:31 PM on March 29, 2026. Two suspects assaulted and stole property from the adult male victim.

Clarksburg shooting leaves 2 victims seriously injured


Montgomery County police responded to a report of a shooting in Clarksburg at 10:52 AM this morning. The shooting was reported in the 13220 block of Catawba Manor Way. Officers responding to the scene found two male victims suffering from serious injuries. No suspect is in custody at this time, police say.

Strong-arm robbery in Montgomery Village


Montgomery County police responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery in Montgomery Village yesterday afternoon, March 29, 2026. The robbery was reported in the 9600 block of Lost Knife Road at 2:31 PM Sunday. According to police, two suspects physically blocked a vehicle. Assaulting the driver, they ripped his watch off his wrist and fled on foot. Police have not released a description of either suspect.

Teen stabbed aboard bus in Germantown


A teenage boy was stabbed during an altercation that began on a bus in Germantown Tuesday night, March 24, 2026. The 14-year-old victim was involved in an argument aboard the bus with a group of juveniles known to him that turned violent. He suffered a single stab wound, and managed to walk to a nearby grocery store, where he called 911 at 8:13 PM. The boy was transported to a local hospital, where police say his wound was determined to be non-life-threatening. 

Montgomery County police officers combed the nearby area, and located the alleged knife-wielding assailant. The 16-year-old suspect was arrested. Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident, but that there is no further danger to the community.

Aggravated assault at gas station in Germantown


Montgomery County police responded to a report of an aggravated assault at a gas station in Germantown on March 6, 2026. The assault took place at the Exxon station at 21101 Frederick Road at 8:23 PM. Three suspects displayed an unspecified weapon, and physically assaulted the victim.

Assault at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg


Montgomery County police were called to the Rio Lakefront development Saturday afternoon, March 7, 2026, after someone was allegedly assaulted there. The assault was reported in the unit block of Grand Corner Avenue at 2:40 PM Saturday. It took place in a parking lot on that block. Another shocking broad daylight violent crime brought to you by the pro-criminal, anti-police Montgomery County Council. Heckuva job, Brownie!

Montgomery County police responded to a report of indecent exposure in Montgomery Village early Sunday morning, February 22, 2026. The incident was reported in the 20000 block of Goshen Road at 12:01 AM Sunday. An individual was also accused of assault in the same incident.

Montgomery County police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault at an apartment complex in Germantown on February 14, 2026. The assault was reported in the 12900 block of Falling Water Circle at 7:49 AM. It took place in the parking lot. That is the location of the Acclaim at Germantown apartments.

Police searching for suspects in Montgomery Village robbery


Montgomery County police have released some minimal details on the Christmas Eve strong-arm robbery that took place in front of new townhomes in Montgomery Village. Two suspects assaulted two adult victims, and took their property. Police describe the suspects only as two Black males, aged late 30s to early 40s.
