A suspect in a August 16, 2022 shooting in Montgomery Village has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in the incident. Damien Fisher, 29, of Germantown, allegedly shot a juvenile male in th 18300 block of Lost Knife Circle shortly before 11:23 PM. Evidence collected at the scene, along with further investigation by detectives, identified Fisher as the suspect by September.
In the meantime, Fisher was also determined to be a suspect in a separate carjacking and kidnapping incident. He was arrested and charged with kidnapping, first-degree assault and unauthorized removal of a vehicle in that incident. Through this arrest, detectives obtained the final evidence they needed to also charge Fisher in the Montgomery Village shooting.
Fisher was arrested again October 4, but as he was already being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing unit, he was served with the arrest warrant there. He is being held without bond in the carjacking and kidnapping incident.
