Car owners in the far Upcounty of Montgomery County should be on alert, as an auto theft operation appears to be active there this week. Yesterday morning, October 5, 2022, a vehicle was reported stolen from the 23300 block of Deets Manor Court, off Stringtown Road, in Clarksburg. Just the previous day, a car was stolen from a residential parking lot in Damascus. If you can't garage your vehicle, make sure your doors are locked, all visible items are removed from the interior, and to never leave keys or key fobs in the ignition or glove compartment.
