Jimmie Cone is now open for the 2024 ice cream season at 26420 Ridge Road (MD 27) in Damascus. The venerable ice cream stand opened yesterday, and despite it being a school night, had a line wrapping around the property after sunset. Jimmie Cone reports that Sunday's sales set a new opening day record.
Once again, Eddie Noyes Sr. and Jr. laid claim to being the first customers of the year. They are pictured above with their inaugural cones. Current flavors are vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, non-dairy blueberry and sugar-free pistachio.
