A man suspected of firing a handgun in a residential area of Montgomery Village was arrested in another part of the Village, after fleeing police responding to a shots-fired 911 call. Montgomery County police say Zyree Keishon Niseir Wilson, 23, of Frederick, Maryland allegedly displayed and then discharged a handgun in the 9900 block of Ridgeline Drive just before 8:43 PM on January 27, 2024. After setting up a perimeter, officers located Wilson nearby, but continued to pursue him on foot as he ran away from them again.
