The owner of the Subway sandwich shop at 108 Old Towne Avenue in Old Towne Gaithersburg has won an award from the City of Gaithersburg. Jesse Chew received the Distinguished Friend Award in recognition of her support for Gaithersburg Community and Homeless Services. She received the award from Mayor Jud Ashman and City Council Vice-President Lisa Henderson during the annual State of the City address at Asbury Methodist Village.
