Montgomery County police have released a photo of an alleged robber, whom they say held up the Bank of America at 474 N. Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg at 3:36 PM yesterday, January 17, 2023. Detectives say the man entered the bank, implied to bank employees that he had a firearm, stole an undisclosed amount of money, and fled. But the robber had helpfully lowered his black mask to reveal his face to the surveillance camera during the robbery. Anyone with information regarding this suspect or this crime is asked to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. Callers can remain anonymous.
