Montgomery County police responded to a report of a 2nd-degree assault in the Rio Lakefront area of Gaithersburg early Sunday morning, September 24, 2023. The assault was reported at a hotel in the 9700 block of Washingtonian Boulevard at 2:39 AM Sunday. There are two hotels on that block: the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center, and the Residence Inn.
